Sedaxane is a novel broad-spectrum seed treatment fungicide (fungicide) that inhibits fungal respiration by binding to the succinate dehydrogenase complex in fungal mitochondria. It exhibits broad-spectrum activity against a variety of seed-borne and soil-borne fungi. Sedaxane is applicable in the research of barley loose smut and barley stripe diseases.
