Tetranor-Misoprostol is a derivative of Moxifloxacin and an active metabolite of the prostaglandin E1 analogue. Moxifloxacin is an 8-methoxyquinolone antibacterial antibiotic used in the study of acute bacterial sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, and pneumonia.
