SB-583355 (Compound 56) is a potent G2A antagonist. It is synthesized through a Suzuki reaction of 4-methoxyphenylboronic acid with 3-bromo-4-hydroxybenzoic acid under specific conditions, followed by amide coupling. SB-583355 effectively blocks G2A activation mediated by 9-HOPE or T-10148 in CHO-K1 cells expressing human G2A. This compound is useful for investigating inflammation, myeloid leukemia, and neuropathic pain.
