HOOC-PEG-SH (MW 5000) (HOOC-PEG-Thiol (MW 5000) ) is a reactive thiol PEG derivative characterized by a terminal carboxyl group. The carboxyl group can form stable amide bonds with amines or unstable ester bonds with hydroxyl groups. The PEG linkage between the thiol and carboxyl groups provides excellent water solubility, flexible linker distance, and enhanced stability.
