VVD-849 is a RAS ligand that covalently binds to cysteine at position 242 within the RAS binding domain of PI3Kp110α, enhancing RAS/PI3K interaction. It partially inhibits pAKT (S473) in tumors overexpressing HER2. VVD-849 is applicable in cancer research, including studies on breast cancer.
