YY1, Human (His)

The multifunctional transcription factor YY1 controls a variety of cellular and viral genes by binding to sites that overlap with the transcription start site. YY1 recognizes the consensus sequence 5'-CCGCCATNTT-3' and exhibits context-dependent transcriptional regulation, with methylation of the initial CG dinucleotide affecting binding affinity. YY1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived YY1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.
