Neoseptin-3 is a novel small molecule agonist that selectively activates the mouse TLR4/MD-2 complex with an EC50 of 18.5 μM, while exhibiting no activity on the human ortholog. This species-specific tool compound is valuable for in vitro and in vivo research applications in murine models of innate immunity and inflammation.
