M-PEG-thiol (MW 3400)
M-PEG-thiol (MW 3400) is utilized for modifying thiolated DNA and synthesizing gold nanorods (AuNR) . Through the mPEG-SH/Tween 20 assisted method (where Tween 20 and mPEG-SH repeatedly displace CTAB on the AuNR surface), thiolated DNA can be loaded onto AuNR. DNA AuNR has been widely used in nanostructure assembly, gene therapy, biosensing, and drug delivery.
