Leucomycin A7 is a component of the leucomycin complex, isolated from *Streptomyces kitasatoensis*. It possesses antibacterial activity, effectively inhibiting the growth of gram-positive bacteria, while its inhibitory effect on gram-negative bacteria is comparatively weaker.
