Phenazostatin A
Phenazostatin A is a phenazine compound known for its neuroprotective properties. It acts by scavenging free radicals, protecting N18-RE 105 neuronal cells from glutamate-induced toxicity, and inhibiting lipid peroxidation. Phenazostatin A inhibits glutamate toxicity in N18-RE-105 cells with an EC50 of 0.34 μg/mL.
