Pterulinic acid is an inhibitor of coenzyme I:coenzyme Q oxidoreductase. It demonstrates IC50 values (μg/mL) of 50 for the mammalian cell line L1210, 20 for HL60, 25 for HeLaS3, and 100 for BHK.
