It activates Ca2+-related extracellular signal-regulated kinase and calcium-calmodulin (CaM) -dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) pathways, and it promotes mesenchymal stem cell osteogenic differentiation, indicating its potential application in the study of disuse osteoporosis (OP) .
