Cholesteryl-PEG2000-Biotin (Cholesteryl biotinyl (polyethyleneglycol) -2000 carbamate) is a lipid compound. It consists of a cholesterol skeleton linked to a PEG unit on one end and a biotin unit on the other. Biotin is a coenzyme factor used to label proteins, while PEG is a low-toxicity hydrophilic polymer. Cholesteryl-PEG2000-Biotin can be applied in drug circulation time studies.
