Horseradish peroxidase-conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal goat antiserum to guinea pig IgG2, subclass specific. In enzyme-immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical staining for the detection of IgG2 at the cellular and subcellular level by staining of appropriately treated cell and tissue substrates; to demon- strate circulating IgG2 antibodies in serodiagnostic microbiology and autoimmune diseases; to identify a specific antigen using a reference antibody of guinea pig origin known to be of the IgG2 isotype in the middle layer of the indirect test procedure; in non-isotopic assay methodology (e.g. ELISA) to measure IgG2 in guinea pig serum or other body fluids.
