MRS8209 is a selective 5-HT2B receptor antagonist (Ki = 4.27 nM) with research utility in pulmonary fibrosis. It has demonstrated protective effects on pulmonary airway opening pressure (PAO) in experimental models, supporting its application in both in vitro and in vivo studies of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology.
