BGC4
BGC4 is a biphenyl-derived gold (III) complex that acts as a thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) inhibitor with an IC50 of 10.7 μM. It demonstrates potent in vitro cytotoxicity (IC50 = 5.4 μM in MDA-MB-231 cells) by inducing apoptosis and has shown promising antitumor efficacy in mouse xenograft models.
