Dopaminechrome
Dopaminechrome is a neurotoxic dopamine oxidation product that induces mitochondrial complex I-dependent H2O2 production in a concentration- and respiration-dependent manner. It is used as a research tool in Parkinson's disease models for studying oxidative stress mechanisms in both in vitro and in vivo experimental systems.
