Serotonin maleate
Serotonin hydrogen maleate is an endogenous agonist for central 5-HT receptors and also inhibits catechol O-methyltransferase (COMT) with a Ki of 44 μM. This small molecule is used in neuroscience research to study serotonergic signaling and catecholamine metabolism in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
