P2X4 antagonist-4 (compound 64) is a selective P2X4 receptor blocker (IC50 = 8 μM) that suppresses ATP-mediated NLRP3 inflammasome activation and IL-1β release. This tool compound is useful for studying neuropathic pain and neuroinflammation in both cellular and animal models of disease.
