RNA Recruiter 1 is the RNA ligand component of RNase L-targeting RIBOTAC chimeras. It binds the SL5 G-quadruplex in the SARS-CoV-2 5' UTR, enabling targeted RNA degradation and inhibiting viral replication in cellular models, such as lung epithelial carcinoma cells, for antiviral research applications.
