HT1171 is a potent and selective Mycobacterium tuberculosis proteasome inhibitor, demonstrating antitubercular activity with MIC values of 2-4 μg/mL against H37Rv. It is a research tool for studying tuberculosis drug mechanisms and has been evaluated in both in vitro antimycobacterial and mammalian cell cytotoxicity assays.
