PPO-IN-18 (Compound g13) is a potent protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) inhibitor, exhibiting an IC50 of 0.109 μM against Echinochloa crus-galli PPO. It shows broad-spectrum herbicidal activity against major weeds in both in vitro enzyme assays and in vivo post-emergence applications, with selectivity observed at field rates.
