Simufilamum Dihydrochloride Monohydrate
Simufilam (PTI-125) is an oral small molecule that selectively binds and reverses pathogenic conformations of filamin A in Alzheimer's disease. It reduces key AD pathologies, including Aβ42 aggregation and tau hyperphosphorylation, with efficacy demonstrated from picomolar concentrations in vitro using post-mortem AD brain tissue.
