HA-CD44 interaction inhibitor 3 (compound 5d) is a small molecule that disrupts the hyaluronic acid-CD44 binding, showing inhibitory activity in breast cancer cell lines with EC50 values of 4.24 μM (MDA-MB-231) and 14.74 μM (MCF-7) . It is a useful research tool for studying CD44-mediated oncogenic signaling, migration, and tumor progression in vitro.
