UX4O
UX4O is an allosteric inhibitor of UDP-glucose dehydrogenase (UGDH), a hexameric enzyme converting UDP-glucose to UDP-glucuronic acid. It stabilizes the inactive state, analogous to UDP-xylose in human UGDH, and serves as a research tool for studying bacterial UGDH isoforms in vitro.
