WRN inhibitor 16
WRN inhibitor 16 (Example 83) is an orally bioavailable small molecule targeting the Werner syndrome helicase. In preclinical studies using a SW48 colorectal cancer xenograft model, it demonstrated inhibitory activity but did not induce tumor regression. This tool compound is useful for investigating WRN's role in DNA repair and microsatellite unstable cancers.
