LYS228 (Ancremonam) is a potent small-molecule antibiotic effective against carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE), with an MIC90 of 2 μM/mL, and retains activity in the presence of β-lactamases. It is a valuable research tool for in vitro studies of multidrug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens and the development of novel antibacterial agents.
