BIO-2007817 is a potent positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the E3 ubiquitin ligase Parkin, exhibiting an EC50 of 0.17 μM. It enhances wild-type Parkin activity, promotes its autoubiquitination, and increases mono-ubiquitinated Miro1. This small molecule is a valuable research tool for studying Parkin function in Parkinson's disease models, both in vitro and in vivo.
