LDH-IN-3 (E38) is a lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) inhibitor investigated for its neuroprotective potential in models of ischemic injury to the retina and brain. Its mechanism of action is associated with the activation of the HO-1/SIRT1 signaling pathway, as evidenced in preclinical studies.
