Oxamic acid is a small molecule inhibitor of lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) with demonstrated antitumor properties. It has been shown in research studies to induce apoptosis, suppress EGFR expression, and inhibit cancer stemness and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in various in vitro cancer models.
