Antibacterialagent 254 (Compound 2) is a biofilm-eradicating agent that disrupts mature P. aeruginosa biofilms at 50 μM without bactericidal activity. It acts as a ciprofloxacin adjuvant and induces the expression of pelA, pslG, and eddA genes, supporting research into novel anti-biofilm strategies and combination therapies in vitro.
