SOAT-IN-1 (compound 40) is a selective small molecule inhibitor of the sodium-dependent organic anion transporter (SOAT) with an IC50 of 1.6 μM, showing lower activity against NTCP (IC50 = 14.3 μM) . This tool compound is useful for in vitro studies investigating hepatic bile acid uptake and transporter function.
