NCAO
N-ω-chloroacetyl-L-ornithine (NCAO) is a potent, reversible competitive inhibitor of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) with cytotoxic and antiproliferative effects in tumor cell lines (EC50 1-50.6 μM) . It induces apoptosis, inhibits migration in vitro, and shows significant antitumor efficacy in mouse models of solid and ascitic myeloma tumors, supporting its use in oncology research.
