H3R antagonist 4
This research compound, H3R antagonist 4 (11l), is a potent dual-acting agent targeting Alzheimer's disease pathology. It reversibly inhibits cholinesterases (IC50: 7.04 μM eeAChE, 9.73 μM hAChE) and histamine H3 receptors (1.09 nM), while also disrupting Aβ aggregation, chelating biometals, and reducing tau hyperphosphorylation. Demonstrated in vitro and in vivo, it shows neuroprotective effects against apoptosis/ferroptosis and improves cognitive deficits in scopolamine-induced mouse models.
