CAM2602 is a potent small molecule inhibitor of the Aurora A-TPX2 interaction with a 19 nM binding affinity for Aurora A. It demonstrates anti-proliferative activity in pancreatic cancer cell lines and inhibits tumor growth in xenograft models, evidenced by increased phospho-histone H3 and decreased phospho-Thr288 Aurora A levels.
