Endosidine 5

Endosidine 5 (ES5) is a small molecule that disrupts Golgi-mediated secretion of extracellular matrix materials and inhibits EPS production and cell wall expansion in Penium margaritaceum. It also interferes with endosomal recycling via Annexin A6, promoting cytoplasmic mRNA release, making it a valuable tool for studying secretory pathways and cell morphogenesis in plant cell research.
