BTB 06061 is a selective TRPM7 channel blocker used in research on ischemic conditions, such as stroke and cardiac ischemia. It is employed in both in vitro cellular models and in vivo animal studies to investigate TRPM7's role in calcium and magnesium homeostasis, anoxic cell death, and ischemic tissue injury.
