YTR107 is a small molecule radiosensitizer that targets nucleophosmin 1 (NPM1), disrupting its pentamerization. This action impairs NPM1 recruitment to DNA damage sites and inhibits double-strand break repair, thereby enhancing radiation-induced cell death in cancer research models, both in vitro and in vivo.
