YGT-31 is a PPARγ modulator (IC50=1.72 μM; Ki=0.62 μM) that improves glycemic control and insulin sensitivity by blocking CDK5-mediated PPARγ-Ser273 phosphorylation. It also demonstrates anti-steatotic activity in NAFLD models, making it a useful research tool for studying type 2 diabetes and metabolic disorders.
