Antifungalagent 106 (Compound Z31) is a benzoic acid derivative fungicide targeting Monilinia fructicola, the causal agent of brown rot in stone fruits. It disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity, leading to electrolyte leakage with an EC50 of 11.8 mg/L, and is used in both in vitro and plant pathology research.
