Lactisole free acid
Lactisole free acid is a selective T1R3 subunit antagonist, inhibiting sweet taste receptors that function in glucose sensing. It is used in research to study receptor mechanisms and has been shown to suppress glucose-stimulated insulin secretion in both in vitro and in vivo models, such as mouse pancreatic islets.
