Anticancer agent 233

Anticanceragent 233 is a 3,5-bis (arylmethyl) -4-piperidone derivative that potently inhibits the 20S proteasome. Its chloroaryl groups enable effective binding to the catalytic site, leading to anticancer activity demonstrated in vitro against HeLa and HCT116 cell lines with GI50 values in the sub-micromolar range.
