Nystatin A1
Nystatin A1 is a polyene macrolide antibiotic derived from Streptomyces noursei that acts by binding ergosterol in fungal membranes, increasing permeability and leading to cell content leakage. It is widely used in vitro for antifungal susceptibility testing and in research exploring fungal membrane biology and ergosterol interactions.
