Peanut procyanidin A
Peanut procyanidin A, an A-type proanthocyanidin, protects DU145 prostate cells from H2O2-induced oxidative stress via MAPK signaling, mitigating cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. In vivo, it has been shown to modulate intestinal microbiota and metabolism in murine DSS-induced colitis models, supporting research in oxidative stress, apoptosis, and inflammatory bowel disease.
