N-Biotinyl p-aminophenyl arsenic acid
This bifunctional reagent binds streptavidin and disulfide-containing compounds. It protects reduced nicotinic acetylcholine receptors by competitively inhibiting α-bungarotoxin binding (IC50 10-300 nM) and shielding them from bromoacetylcholine alkylation, useful for in vitro receptor mapping and protection studies.
