Ap3A (diadenosine triphosphate) is a vasoactive purinergic signaling molecule known to stimulate the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) . This activity makes it a relevant tool for in vitro studies of vascular remodeling, atherosclerosis, and restenosis, as well as for investigating purinergic receptor pathways.
