Farnesylcysteine
Farnesylcysteine is a competitive inhibitor of ICMT, leading to ABA hypersensitivity in Arabidopsis. It is used in plant biology research to study protein prenylation, ABA signaling pathways, and the phenotypic effects observed in fcly mutants both in vitro and in vivo.
