Digitoxose

Digitoxose (D- (+) -Digitoxose) is a specific and competitive inhibitor of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion, used in diabetes research. It has been applied in both in vitro studies with pancreatic islets and in vivo experiments in lean and obese mouse models to investigate beta-cell function.
