Versipelostatin is a small molecule that downregulates the GRP78/BiP molecular chaperone, isolated from Streptomyces versipellis 4083-SVS6. It is used in research to study endoplasmic reticulum stress, proteostasis, and has shown potential in vitro activity against certain cancer cell lines.
