Heronamide C
Heronamide C is a selective antifungal polyketide macrolactam that disrupts fungal cell wall integrity in fission yeast (MIC 0.13-0.28 μM) . It induces reversible morphological changes in mammalian cells at higher concentrations and serves as a valuable chemical probe for studying cytoskeletal dynamics and antifungal mechanisms in vitro.
